Formed in December 2018, Agape Equine

A Passion for People and Horses

Since Laura was a young child, she was drawn to horses. Beginning at age 10, Laura took lessons anywhere she was allowed near her home in Indiana. At the age of 12, she cared for a horse named Keeno that would forever change her life. Keeno was a patient teacher with plenty of quirks. She received her first horse a few years later. The love never went away. Laura has ridden in multiple disciplines including: dressage, hunter/jumper, western and saddle seat. Lessons focus on proper care, horse body language, and riding fundamentals to provide an excellent relationship with your lesson horse. Safety and fun are priorities at Agape Equine!

I have known Laura for 25 years. Her love for animals and love for others are perfectly married in this endeavor. Her kindness, compassion and hard-working spirit are contagious! Your kids will be better humans after working with her!  Carolyn Brooks

I love that my foster son has this unique opportunity through the program. It helps his whole person and is therapeutic. He would not stop talking about the horses and was very proud of what he accomplished. He loved it and couldn’t wait to go back again.  Piper Post
