Our lessons take place in beautiful Waterloo, IL. We offer a wide range of horses available for equine-assisted activities and lessons. Our current weight limit of the rider is 185lbs due to the size of our horses. We focus on placement success based on a customized approach prior to beginning at Agape Equine. All students must be able to take instruction to participate. The pace of our lessons matches the student. We teach children and adults in Monroe County, IL and the surrounding areas. Lessons may be purchased as well through gift certificates. By appointment only. All riders must wear long pants, closed toed shoes and a helmet. Helmets are provided.
RIDING SCHOOL OPTIONS
Come learn the basics of horsemanship in a worry-free setting. We begin all lessons on the ground, learning equine body language, etiquette and proper care. All lessons are at the pace of the student. We have a lot of fun and work hard!
If you have ridden in the past and it has been quite a few years, we can help! Lessons are all customized to the rider.
If you are currently riding and would like to fine-tune your skills and enjoy a well trained horse, we offer this service on a limited basis. Horse leasing is available.
Lessons for Littles
This program is for children ages four and up. Sessions are thirty minutes, which offers a fun and safe option for younger children to begin their horsemanship journey. $25
